About DecisionDecode

Why this exists

When there are many choices, your mind keeps looping. You pick one, then doubt it, then go back. A day later you're still stuck in the same circle. That loop is the real cost.

This puts a full stop to it. A simple, math-based way to choose between your options, based entirely on the factors that matter to you. One clear answer comes out, and you can see exactly why.

A pro-and-con list can't do that. Every item counts the same, so "free parking" sits next to "I'd never see my family" as if they matter equally.

The method

DecisionDecode walks you through a Weighted Average Decision Matrix (WADM), a technique engineers and managers have trusted for decades. You name your choices, list which factors matter to you, weight each one 1–10, and score every choice 1–5 against it. Multiply, add, done. The biggest total is your answer. The table shows exactly why.

Where AI fits

One place only: when you list your factors, AI drafts suggestions for your specific question so you don't start from a blank page. You can rewrite or delete every suggestion. It never weights, scores or decides.
